It's time that we as human beings come together and take the necessary steps to make a Change and Restore Credibility in our Leaders. As an African-American male, I see Change coming to America!!!!
I am... African American man, crazy, chaotic, tired, happy, bored, friendly, silly, surprising, amazing, mysterious, emotional, sensitive, intuitive, insightful, MARRIED, mellow, simple, loyal, honest, active, hungry for knowledge, thirsty for a wisdom, learning, not smart enough, growing, dreamer, listener, charming, funny, ridiculous, demanding, and want to be someone that people remember for all the right reasons: a good listener and good mentor) - you get my point.
I have been a leader for most of my life, and if I could change how I done business – I would not. The one thing that I would like to have is good a leader.
WHY? A leader can provide guidance, direction, and insight to help you with your issues in your life.
Understanding how to maneuver through this crazy world.
I consider myself a very down to earth, honest, loyal, compassionate person, and positive person who enjoys life to it's fullest. I also want to continue to live each day to the fullest, continue to learn something new as often as possible, and to be thankful for it all.
I appreciate honesty and a straightforward attitude from those close to me.
New Yorkers are Controversial, Conversational, Confrontational, Curious and Unconventional.
I believe in the three Rs: Respect for self, Respect for others and Responsibility for all your actions.
Half my adult life I have been in Germany!!!
This election is about our country, not about gender, race or who 'deserves' the nomination. It's about leadership, and a new direction.
I'm a strong Obama supporter because I see the growing poverty in America regardless what your race is. The rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer.
I'm anxious for a change and I'm willing to give Obama the chance. Electing a Republican will just be more of the same old things. For me, the issues aren't about race or gender - although I'm glad to be able to be a witness to history and see both Obama and Clinton have such an opportunity and get as far as they have. It's about leadership, new direction and generational change in leadership, and Obama is the person that best embodies change right now.
I’m eager to embrace a new politics of Hope, Unity, Change and witnessing the rebirth of a great nation. I’m looking to see a new leader stand up for what's right and does not forget about the middle class in our country. They built this country men and women of all ages, races, religions, and backgrounds – that’s why we want to come together around the idea that we are one people, invest in each other and in our common future
They saying "the country won't elect a black president." Maybe in the 70's, 80's or 90's, but it’s a new generation. The world may have been revelatory, even revolutionary, but now we're in different times that require a new perspective. There had been others driving this car for a long, long time. Let someone else take over the wheel for a new start. Obama is reaching beyond the generations.
I have been inspired in a very new way through Senator Obama's campaign. I am in my 47 year and have voted twice in my life. I have been paying attention to politics, somewhat at arms length. Senator Obama has truly inspired me in a new way. I have never donated to a campaign before - until now and I've made multiple donations.
I choose Barack Obama because we need a new approach, a new system, a new person to change the direction of our country. I believe only Obama can do that. Look at how many people are inspired by him: young, old, republicans, democrats, independents and foreigners as well.
I do think Obama has enough experience to handle explosive international affairs. Just look at these leaders: Martin Luther King. John F. Kennedy, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela – they did not have the experience but they had the ability to touch the whole world. I've never volunteered for a campaign - until now. I've never made personal contact with friends and family encouraging them to support a candidate - until now.
I'm willing to "roll the dice" on Obama because of who he is. He's not an egomaniac, and he's not from the aristocracy; his personal and political experience is on the ground, and I can relate to it. His charisma only makes it easier for me to get on board with his idealism.
Lifelong Republican, granddaughter of Dwight Eisenhower, is pledging to work to get Obama elected if nominated. She's going to cross party lines:

Why am I doing this now?
He makes me proud to be an American. He makes me feel like it is o.k. to want more from my government and that we really do mean something.
Our country needs change and hope. We need a different kind of politics.
Our country needs leadership. Leadership is understanding people and involving them to help you do a job. That takes all of the good characteristics, like integrity, dedication of purpose, selflessness, knowledge, skill, implacability, as well as determination not to accept failure. - Admiral Arleigh A. Burke
He chooses first to serve; to work for the common good; to leave the world a better place. As a result of his service, he gains trust and respect and as a result, leads. He is a main of integrity, strength, honesty. He listens, truly listens, to gain understanding.
Leaders do not command excellence, they build excellence. Excellence is "being all you can be" within the bounds of doing what is right for your organization. To reach excellence you must first be a leader of character. You must do everything you are supposed to do. Excellence starts with leaders of character who engage in the entire process of leadership. And the first process is being a person of honorable character.
New generation of leadership The world is changing. The old ways will not do… It is time for a new generation of leadership."

A friend sent me this video over the weekend.
After nearly a year on the campaign trail, I've seen a lot of things that have touched me deeply, but I had to share this with you:
http://my.barackobama.com/yeswecan
Sharing this video, which was created by supporters, is one more way to help start a conversation with your friends, family, coworkers, and anyone else who will be voting soon about the issues important to them in this election.
Right now people like you are making phone calls, emailing friends, and doing everything they can to reach voters before the big vote tomorrow.
This is our moment -- please do what you can to help.
Thank you so much, Michelle
Just two weeks ago we were behind by double-digits in many of the states that voted yesterday, but Barack won 13 states to 8 states for Hillary Clinton, with one state (New Mexico) still counting votes.
This is an enormous victory, and it's all thanks to you.
We won yesterday because thousands upon thousands of individual supporters canvassed their neighborhoods, talked to their neighbors and friends, and made phone calls to remind their fellow supporters to get out the vote.
And we accomplished all of this with a campaign funded by ordinary people giving only what they can afford.
Yesterday was proof that America is ready for change -- and that you are the force to make that change happen.
But there's still a long way to go before Barack becomes the Democratic nominee. In the next week alone, six more states will hold their primaries and caucuses.
We need to match this $5 million personal contribution from the Clintons immediately and put these resources to work in the states that will vote next.
Please make a donation of $25 now: https://donate.barackobama.com/results
Here are some details about yesterday's historic victory. According to official results and exit polls:
Barack won 2-to-1 in traditionally conservative states where Democrats are hungry for a nominee who can change the map and help Democrats up and down the ticket win in November
Our winning coalition included Americans of every race, background, and gender -- including 64% of women in Georgia
We scored wins in every region of the country -- New England, the Mid-Atlantic, the South, the Midwest, the Rocky Mountain States, and the West
Americans had a clear choice to make yesterday, and they chose Barack Obama.
Now let's match this $5 million and take this campaign into the next stage.
Thank you, David

The votes will be counted into the night and into tomorrow, but today we won states and we won delegates in every part of the country.
As of right now, we have won more states and delegates than Senator Clinton. It's a remarkable achievement we can all be proud of.
Tonight, we know one thing for sure -- our time has come, our movement is real, and change is coming to America.
At this moment in history, the stakes are too high and the challenges too great to play the same Washington game with the same Washington players and expect a different result.
This time must be different.
There will be those who say it cannot be done. But we know what we have seen and what we believe -- that when ordinary people come together we can still do extraordinary things.
Yes, we can.
Thank you so much, Barack
Wendell
Today, nearly half the nation will have the chance to join you in saying that we are tired of business-as-usual in Washington, we are hungry for change, and we are ready to believe again.

Dear Wendell,
When I endorsed Barack Obama on Monday, I was also endorsing a candidate with the power to transform America.
As President Kennedy said in 1960, "It is time for a new generation of leadership."
This campaign is about a new generation of leadership today. A generation ready to be part of something bigger than themselves. A generation ready to change the country, and a generation ready to change the world.
I'm doing everything I can to elect Barack Obama. With less than a week before my state and 21 others make their voices heard, there is no time to lose.
Please join me by making a $50 donation now:

Like my son Patrick and my niece Caroline, I have found a new generation of leadership for America in Barack Obama -- and I hope you have too!
Sincerely,
Senator Edward M. Kennedy
Governor Kathleen Sebelius
Wendell
Tonight, Governor Kathleen Sebelius spoke eloquently to the nation on behalf of our party.
But I wanted to share my personal response to George Bush's final State of the Union with you.
Watch my response here:

Next year, when it will be the job of someone new to report on the state of our union, the entire nation can have a president they believe in.
And with your help in the coming days and weeks, that's the kind of president I will be.
Thank you Barack
